THE PRE-ENTRY THEORETICAL COURSE FOR SINGLE-PILOT MULTI-ENGINE HELICOPTERS

HELITOM s.r.o. provides theoretical training of a pre-entry theoretical course for single-pilot multi-engine helicopters. TThis theoretical course is intended for all pilots who have not yet passed the theoretical ATPL(H) course and plan to start training to obtain the first type rating of a single-pilot multi-engine helicopter.

Requirements

  • PPL(H) or CPL(H) license
  • Theoretical part: 60 hours

Course progress

The theoretical course is provided in the form of professional lectures in the HELITOM s.r.o. classrooms and self-study. With this course, the student undergoes theoretical preparation in subjects:

  • 021
    General knowledge of aircraft - airframe and systems of the aircraft, electrical equipment, power unit, emergency equipment
  • 022
    General knowledge of the aircraft - instruments
  • 031
    Weight and balance
  • 034
    Performance - helicopters
The successful completion of the course is confirmed by the issuance of a certificate of completion of the theoretical training, which is needed prior to start of type training for obtaining the first type rating of a single-pilot multi-engine helicopter.
